The Gainesville Red Elephants (Gainesville, GA) volleyball held off the visiting Cherokee Bluff Bears (Flowery Branch, GA), 2-1 in Saturday's non-league contest.

The Red Elephants (14-8) will now prepare for their contest against Lakeview Academy (Gainesville, GA). The Lions enter the non-league contest with a 7-7 record. In their last contest, Lakeview Academy got by Trinity Classical (Clarkesville, GA), 2-0, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Bears battle the Flowery Branch Falcons (Flowery Branch, GA) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, September 6. Cherokee Bluff will attempt to move on its 17-5 season record.
