Virginia High School Volleyball - Grassfield overwhelmed by Midlothian
September 6, 2025: Midlothian, VA 23114 Midlothian Trojans (Midlothian, VA) backers were pleased Saturday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the visiting Grassfield Grizzlies (Chesapeake, VA), 3-0 in a non-league challenge.
The Trojans (5-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Clover Hill (Midlothian, VA). The Cavaliers come into the Dominion challenge with a 2-2 record. In their last challenge, Clover Hill beat Glen Allen (Glen Allen, VA), 3-0, in a non-league test.
The Grizzlies now sport a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Indian River for a Southeastern test on Thursday, September 11. Grassfield will face a Braves squad coming off a 3-2 league win over Oscar Smith (Chesapeake, VA). The Braves record now stands at 1-1.
