In Saturday's non-league match, the Monticello Magic (Monticello, MN) volleyball squad tipped the host Sauk Rapids-Rice Storm (Sauk Rapids, MN), by a count of 2-1.

Next up, the Magic battle the North Branch Vikings (North Branch, MN) in a Mississippi 8 match, on Tuesday, September 9. Monticello will attempt to move on its 4-3 season record. The Vikings enter the match with a 1-3 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Cloquet (Cloquet, MN).
