The Pike Central Chargers volleyball squad (Petersburg, IN), dropped 3-0 in Saturday's league battle with the host Mt. Vernon Wildcats (Mt. Vernon, IN)

The Wildcats (3-6) will now prepare for their contest against Tell City (Tell City, IN). The Marksmen enter the Pocket contest with a 4-3 record. In their last contest, Tell City beat Lanesville (Lanesville, IN), 3-0, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Chargers meet the Wood Memorial Trojans (Oakland City, IN) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, September 9. Pike Central will attempt to upgrade on its 0-7 season record. The Trojans enter the contest with a 3-5 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to White River Valley (Switz City, IN).
