In Saturday's non-league match, the Southern Wells Raiders (Poneto, IN) volleyball squad overcame the visiting Tri-Central Trojans (Sharpsville, IN), by a count of 2-0.

Next up, the Raiders battle the South Adams Starfires (Berne, IN) in a Allen County match, on Tuesday, September 9. Southern Wells will attempt to better on its 8-5 season record. The Starfires come into the bout with a 10-3 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Norwell (Ossian, IN).

With the loss, Tri-Central drops to 1-10 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Rossville (Rossville, IN) to clash with the Hornets in a Hoosier Heartland bout on Tuesday, September 9. The Hornets come into the bout with a record of 8-1. Rossville won 3-0 in their recent league bout against Delphi Community (Delphi, IN)
