September 7, 2023: Remlap, AL 35133 The Southeastern Mustangs volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting Pennington Tigers to 0 in the Mustangs non-league victory on Thursday.
The Mustangs now have a 4-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Holly Pond for a 2A Area 12 game on Monday, September 11. Southeastern will meet a Broncos team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Stone Memorial (Crossville, TN). The Broncos record now stands at 11-8.
The Tigers (0-11) will now prepare for their game against Vinemont (Vinemont, AL). The Eagles enter the 3A Area 12 game with a 5-4 record. In their last game, Vinemont gained a win over East Lawrence (Trinity, AL), 3-2, in a non-league game.
