The Grand Junction Tigers triumphed over the visiting Durango Demons softball squad by a count of 15-2 in Saturday's league challenge.

Next, the Tigers meet the Montrose Red Hawks (Montrose, CO) in a 5A/4A Southwestern challenge, on Tuesday, September 10. Grand Junction will attempt to better on its 8-3 season record. The Red Hawks come into the match with a 2-6 record after their 6-5 non-league loss to Eagle Valley (Gypsum, CO).
