Kentucky High School Soccer - Conner can't get by St. Henry
In Tuesday's non-league battle, the visiting St. Henry Crusaders soccer squad scored a close 2-1 win over the Conner Cougars.
The Crusaders (3-1) will now prepare for their battle against Dixie Heights (Edgewood, KY). The Colonels enter the District 34 challenge with a 2-6 record. In their last challenge, Dixie Heights was edged by Newport Central Catholic (Newport, KY), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.
The Cougars now have a 5-6 record. They take the field next when they host Holy Cross for a non-league challenge on Thursday, September 10. Conner will face a Indians team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Highlands (Fort Thomas, KY). The Indians record now stands at 5-1.
