James Monroe Mavericks (Lindside, WV) supporters left the game in high spirits Thursday as they observed their volleyball squad top the host River View Raiders (Bradshaw, WV), 3-1 in a league match.

Next up, the Mavericks battle the Mingo Central Miners (Matewan, WV) in a non-league match, on Saturday, September 10. James Monroe will attempt to advance on its 3-4 season record. The Miners come into the match with a 2-3 record after their 2-0 non-league win over WestSide (Clear Fork, WV).
