October 11, 2022: Lindside, WV 24951 The James Monroe Mavericks volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Summers County Bobcats to 0 in the Mavericks non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Mavericks now have a 23-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Greenbrier West for a Mountain State game on Thursday, October 13. James Monroe will meet a Cavaliers team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over James Monroe (Lindside, WV). The Cavaliers record now stands at 17-5.
The Bobcats (2-10) will now prepare for their game against Liberty (Glen Daniel, WV). The Raiders enter the non-league game with a 12-12 record. In their last game, Liberty dropped by Shady Spring (Shady Spring, WV), 2-0, in a non-league game.
