The Central Valley Cougars football squad scored 49 points and restricted the host Anselmo-Merna Coyotes to 12 in the Cougars non-league victory on Friday.

The Cougars now possess a 3-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Elm Creek for a D2 District 7 (8 Man) battle on Friday, September 15. Central Valley will face a Buffaloes squad coming off a 38-6 non-league win over Loomis (Loomis, NE). The Buffaloes record now stands at 2-1.
