West Virginia High School Football - Hurricane held off by George Washington

September 8, 2023: Charleston, WV 25314

In Friday's league game, the George Washington Patriots (Charleston, WV) football team tipped the visiting Hurricane Redskins (Hurricane, WV), by a score of 17-14.

The Patriots (1-2) will now prepare for their game against Huntington (Huntington, WV). The Highlanders come into the Mountain State game with a 2-0 record. In their last game, Huntington got by South Charleston (South Charleston, WV), 86-0, in a league game.

The Redskins now sport a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they host Spring Valley for a Mountain State game on Friday, September 15.
