The Bearcats now own a 1-1 record. They play next when they travel to Cabot for a non-league contest on Friday, September 15. Ruston will play a Panthers squad coming off a 21-18 non-league win over Bentonville West (Centerton, AR). The Panthers record now stands at 2-1.

The Knights go into the contest with a 2-0 record after their 49-14 non-league win over Woodlawn-B.R. (Baton Rouge, LA).
