In Friday's league match, the visiting Mercyhurst Prep Lakers football squad scored a big 56-6 victory over the Seneca Bobcats.

In their next game, the Lakers clash with the Corry Beavers (Corry, PA) in a non-league match, on Saturday, September 9. Mercyhurst Prep will attempt to move on its 3-0 season record. The Beavers enter the match with a 0-2 record after their 44-7 non-league loss to Oil City (Oil City, PA).

The Bobcats (0-3) will now prepare for their match against Eisenhower (Russell, PA). The Knights enter the District 10 Region 2 match with a 2-1 record. In their last match, Eisenhower routed Union City (Union City, PA), 34-13, in a non-league match.
