The North East Grape Pickers walloped the host Oil City Oilers football team by a count of 35-0 in Friday's non-league outing.

With the win, North East upgrades its record to 2-1 on the season. The Grape Pickers travel to General McLane (Edinboro, PA) to confront the Lancers in a District 10 Region 4 outing on Wednesday, September 13. The Lancers go into the outing with a record of 2-1. General McLane won 34-14 in their recent non-league outing against Franklin (Franklin, PA)

With the loss, Oil City moves to 2-1 on the season. The Oilers travel to Franklin (Franklin, PA) to confront the Knights in a District 10 Region 5 outing on Saturday, September 16. The Knights go into the outing with a record of 0-3. Franklin lost 34-14 in their recent non-league outing against General McLane (Edinboro, PA)
