Pennsylvania High School Football - Franklin felled by General McLane

The Franklin Knights football team (Franklin, PA), was knocked off 34-14 in Friday's non-league challenge with the host General McLane Lancers (Edinboro, PA)

The Lancers (2-1) will now prepare for their challenge against North East (North East, PA). The Grape Pickers come into the District 10 Region 4 challenge with a 2-1 record. In their last challenge, North East knocked off Oil City (Oil City, PA), 35-0, in a non-league challenge.

The Knights now sport a 0-3 record. They take the field next when they host Oil City for a District 10 Region 5 challenge on Saturday, September 16. Franklin will meet a Oilers team coming off a 35-0 non-league loss to North East (North East, PA). The Oilers record now stands at 2-1.
