North Carolina High School Soccer - Greater Cabarrus Athletic Association nudges Union Academy

September 8, 2025: Monroe, NC 28110

The Greater Cabarrus Athletic Association Stallions soccer squad scored 2 points and held the host Union Academy Cardinals to 1 in the Stallions non-league victory on Monday.

The Stallions now hold a 7-0 record. They play next when they travel to Gray Stone Day for a non-league bout on Thursday, September 11. Greater Cabarrus Athletic Association will play a Knights squad coming off a 5-0 non-league win over East Davidson (Thomasville, NC). The Knights record now stands at 3-2.

With the loss, Union Academy drops to 8-2 on the season. The Cardinals travel to North Stanly (New London, NC) to face the Comets in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, September 10. The Comets go into the challenge with a record of 3-4. North Stanly lost 7-0 in their recent non-league challenge against West Davidson (Lexington, NC)
