Oregon High School Soccer - Mountainside knocks off Putnam
September 8, 2025: Beaverton, OR 97007 In Monday's non-league outing, the host Mountainside Mavericks soccer squad scored a tight 6-1 victory over the Putnam Kingsmen.
The Mavericks (1-2) will now prepare for their outing against McMinnville (McMinnville, OR). The Grizzlies go into the non-league outing with a 0-1 record. In their last test, McMinnville was overwhelmed by Lakeridge (Lake Oswego, OR), 2-1, in a non-league test.
The Kingsmen now have a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they host West Salem for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 16. Putnam will clash with a Titans team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Silverton (Silverton, OR). The Titans record now stands at 2-1.
