The Castle View Sabercats softball team scored 16 runs and held the visiting Highlands Ranch Falcons to 6 in the Sabercats league win on Monday.

The Sabercats now possess a 3-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cherokee Trail for a non-league battle on Wednesday, September 10. Castle View will meet a Cougars squad coming off a 13-3 non-league loss to Legend (Parker, CO). The Cougars record now stands at 4-3.

The Falcons (1-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Vista Ridge (Colorado Springs, CO). The Wolves enter the non-league challenge with a 6-3 record. In their last challenge, Vista Ridge overcame Pine Creek (Colorado Springs, CO), 10-9, in a league challenge.
