Chaparral Wolverines (Parker, CO) fans went home satisfied Friday as they witnessed their softball team tip the visiting Castle View Sabercats (Castle Rock, CO), 9-8 in a league battle.

The Wolverines now possess a 10-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Heritage for a 5A/4A Continental battle on Monday, October 6. Chaparral will play a Eagles squad coming off a 14-2 league loss to Rock Canyon (Highlands Ranch, CO). The Eagles record now stands at 6-14.

The Sabercats (7-13) will now prepare for their challenge against Legend (Parker, CO). The Titans enter the 5A/4A Continental challenge with a 16-5 record. In their last challenge, Legend edged Regis Jesuit (Aurora, CO), 15-13, in a league battle.
