The crowd at Wednesday's non-league bout between the Cherokee Trail Cougars (Aurora, CO) and the visiting Castle View Sabercats (Castle Rock, CO), observed Cherokee Trail's softball team beat Castle View by a score of 15-0.

With the triumph, Cherokee Trail improves its record to 5-3 on the year. The Cougars travel to Chaparral (Parker, CO) to face the Wolverines in a non-league contest on Friday, September 12. The Wolverines enter the contest with a record of 6-4. Chaparral won 4-1 in their recent non-league contest against Cherry Creek (Greenwood Village, CO)

The Sabercats now hold a 3-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Pueblo County for a non-league bout on Saturday, September 13. Castle View will clash with a Hornets team coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to Cheyenne Mountain (Colorado Springs, CO). The Hornets record now stands at 7-2.
