Georgia High School Softball - Pike County can't get by Eastside
September 8, 2025: Zebulon, GA 30295 Eastside Eagles (Covington, GA) backers left the game pleased Monday as they saw their softball squad nudge the host Pike County Pirates (Zebulon, GA), 4-3 in a non-league game.
With the triumph, Eastside upgrades its record to 10-0 on the year. The Eagles travel to East Forsyth (Gainesville, GA) to confront the Broncos in a 4A Region 8 battle on Tuesday, September 9. The Broncos come into the battle with a record of 8-4. East Forsyth won 17-1 in their recent league battle against Cedar Shoals (Athens, GA)
With the loss, Pike County moves to 7-2 on the season. The Pirates travel to Jackson (Jackson, GA) to confront the Red Devils in a 2A Region 2 battle on Tuesday, September 9. The Red Devils come into the battle with a record of 9-3. Jackson won 17-2 in their recent league battle against Rutland (Macon, GA)
