Ohio High School Volleyball - Mathews over Lordstown

Fans at Monday's league contest between the Mathews Mustangs (Vienna, OH) and the visiting Lordstown Red Devils (Warren, OH), observed Mathews's volleyball team top Lordstown by a count of 3-0.

With the win, Mathews improves its record to 2-6 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Maplewood (Cortland, OH) to encounter the Rockets in a Northeastern battle on Tuesday, September 9. The Rockets go into the battle with a record of 6-1. Maplewood lost 3-1 in their recent league battle against Pymatuning Valley (Andover, OH)

The Red Devils now own a 4-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Cardinal for a Northeastern contest on Thursday, September 11. Lordstown will battle a Huskies team coming off a 3-0 league win over Chalker (Southington, OH). The Huskies record now stands at 9-1.
