September 9, 2022: Lima, OH 45806 The Perry Commodores football team (Lima, OH), was ripped 42-8 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting Elgin Comets (Marion, OH)
The Comets (2-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Waynesfield-Goshen (Waynesfield, OH). The Tigers come into the Northwest Central challenge with a 4-0 record. In their last challenge, Waynesfield-Goshen trounced Upper Scioto Valley (McGuffey, OH), 42-14, in a league challenge.
The Commodores now sport a 0-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Hardin Northern for a Northwest Central challenge on Friday, September 16. Perry will meet a Polar Bears team coming off a 61-12 league win over Ridgedale (Morral, OH). The Polar Bears record now stands at 2-2.
