The crowd at Saturday's league contest between the Hopewell Valley Central Bulldogs (Pennington, NJ) and the host Ewing Blue Devils (Trenton, NJ), observed Hopewell Valley Central's football squad defeat Ewing by a count of 42-16.

The Bulldogs now own a 2-0 record. They play next when they host Hamilton for a West Jersey - Capitol contest on Thursday, September 14.

Coming up next, the Blue Devils play the Notre Dame Irish (Lawrenceville, NJ) in a West Jersey - Capitol contest, on Thursday, September 14. Ewing will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record.
