Illinois High School Volleyball - DeLand-Weldon tips Schlarman
September 9, 2023: Danville, IL 61832 DeLand-Weldon Eagles (DeLand, IL) supporters left the game in high spirits Saturday as they observed their volleyball squad hold off the host Schlarman Hilltoppers (Danville, IL), 2-1 in a non-league match.
Next up, the Eagles clash with the Warrensburg-Latham Cardinals (Warrensburg, IL) in a non-league match, on Saturday, September 9. DeLand-Weldon will attempt to advance on its 2-10 season record. The Cardinals come into the match with a 8-6 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Mt. Pulaski (Mt. Pulaski, IL).
With the loss, Schlarman drops to 0-8 on the campaign. The Hilltoppers travel to MacArthur (Decatur, IL) to clash with the Generals in a non-league match on Saturday, September 9. The Generals come into the match with a record of 1-5. MacArthur lost 2-0 in their recent non-league match against Olympia (Stanford, IL)
