In Saturday's non-league contest, the Wessington Springs Spartans (Wessington Springs, SD) volleyball squad were winner over the visiting Gregory Gorillas (Gregory, SD), by a margin of 3-1.

Next up, the Spartans battle the Sanborn Central/Woonsocket Rebels (Forestburg, SD) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, September 12. Wessington Springs will attempt to better on its 4-2 season record. The Rebels go into the contest with a 6-4 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Sioux Falls Lutheran (Sioux Falls, SD).
