In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the host DeKalb Barons volleyball team scored a close 3-2 victory over the Fort Wayne Bishop Luers Knights.

The Barons (4-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Fort Wayne Concordia Lutheran (Fort Wayne, IN). The Cadets enter the non-league challenge with a 6-6 record. In their last test, Fort Wayne Concordia Lutheran tipped Angola (Angola, IN), 3-0, in a non-league test.

The Knights now own a 5-10 record. They play next when they host Fort Wayne Wayne for a Summit challenge on Thursday, September 11. Fort Wayne Bishop Luers will meet a Generals team coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Marion (Marion, IN). The Generals record now stands at 3-7.
