In Tuesday's league contest, the Douglas County Huskies (Castle Rock, CO) volleyball team nipped the visiting ThunderRidge Grizzlies (Highlands Ranch, CO), by a count of 3-2.

With the win, Douglas County improves its record to 3-1 on the season. The Huskies host Rock Canyon (Highlands Ranch, CO) to encounter the Jaguars in a 5A Continental battle on Thursday, September 11. The Jaguars go into the battle with a record of 7-1. Rock Canyon won 3-0 in their recent non-league battle against Arapahoe (Centennial, CO)

The Grizzlies now own a 3-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Highlands Ranch for a 5A Continental battle on Thursday, September 11.
