North Carolina High School Volleyball - Queen's Grant trounced by Jackson Day
September 9, 2025: Charlotte, NC 28214 In Tuesday's league challenge, the host Jackson Day Mariners volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Queen's Grant Stallions.
The Mariners (9-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Mountain Island Charter (Mt. Holly, NC). The Raptors come into the Catawba River 1A/2A/3A challenge with a 11-4 record. In their last challenge, Mountain Island Charter beat Bonnie Cone Leadership Academy (Huntersville, NC), 3-0, in a league challenge.
The Stallions now sport a 3-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to NCSSM: Morganton for a Catawba River 1A/2A/3A test on Thursday, September 11. Queen's Grant will play a Dragons team coming off a 3-0 league win over Sugar Creek Charter (Charlotte, NC). The Dragons record now stands at 3-5.
