Fans at Tuesday's league contest between the Lexington Eagles (Lexington, TX) and the visiting Rockdale Tigers (Rockdale, TX), observed Lexington's volleyball team top Rockdale by a count of 3-0.

The Eagles (17-9) will now prepare for their battle against Thrall (Thrall, TX). The Tigers go into the 3A Region III District 19 battle with a 13-13 record. In their last battle, Thrall was defeated by Franklin (Franklin, TX), 3-0, in a league battle.

The Tigers now own a 14-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host Little River Academy for a 3A Region III District 19 battle on Friday, September 12.
