The Sierra Pacific Golden Bears held off the host Sierra Chieftains volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Golden Bears now have a 9-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Madera South for a non-league test on Saturday, September 10. Sierra Pacific will confront a Stallions team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Liberty (Madera, CA). The Stallions record now stands at 12-4.

The Chieftains (10-4) will now prepare for their test against Reedley (Reedley, CA). The Pirates enter the non-league test with a 8-3 record. In their last test, Reedley held off Tulare Union (Tulare, CA), 2-0, in a non-league test.
