North Carolina High School Volleyball - Laney over New Hanover

In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the visiting Laney Buccaneers volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the New Hanover Wildcats.

The Buccaneers (4-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Topsail (Hampstead, NC). The Pirates enter the challenge with a 9-1 record. In their last challenge, Topsail beat South Brunswick (Southport, NC), 2-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Wildcats meet the Hoggard Vikings (Wilmington, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, September 12. New Hanover will attempt to upgrade on its 4-5 season record. The Vikings enter the challenge with a 5-2 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Ashley (Wilmington, NC).
