The Hoover Huskies (Clendenin, WV) volleyball held off the host Ripley Vikings (Ripley, WV), 2-1 in Tuesday's league bout.

The Huskies now possess a 8-2 record. They play next when they travel to Parkersburg for a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 10. Hoover will clash with a Big Reds team coming off a 2-0 league win over Capital (Charleston, WV). The Big Reds record now stands at 4-11.
