September 10, 2024: Pontotoc, MS 38863 The Lafayette Commodores topped the host Pontotoc Warriors volleyball squad by a final score of 3-1 in Tuesday's league game.
Next up, the Commodores face the Amory Panthers (Amory, MS) in a non-league game, on Saturday, September 14. Lafayette will attempt to advance on its 14-8 season record. The Panthers go into the game with a 13-8 record after their 3-1 league loss to Tishomingo County (Iuka, MS).
The Warriors (12-7) will now prepare for their game against West Point (West Point, MS). The Green Wave go into the Class 5A Region 1 game with a 0-4 record.
