Mississippi High School Volleyball - New Hope can't hold off Pontotoc
September 19, 2024: Pontotoc, MS 38863 In Thursday's league match, the Pontotoc Warriors (Pontotoc, MS) volleyball squad tipped the visiting New Hope Trojans (Columbus, MS), by a count of 3-2.
Next up, the Warriors confront the Ingomar Falcons (New Albany, MS) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, September 24. Pontotoc will attempt to move on its 14-7 season record. The Falcons enter the match with a 31-2 record after their 2-0 non-league win over North Pontotoc (Ecru, MS).
The Trojans (13-18) will now prepare for their match against Lafayette (Oxford, MS). The Commodores enter the Class 5A Region 1 match with a 18-10 record. In their last match, Lafayette held off West Point (West Point, MS), 3-0, in a league match.
