Illinois High School Volleyball - Leland can't get by Dwight
September 10, 2025: Leland, IL 60531 Dwight Trojans (Dwight, IL) backers were pleased Wednesday as they witnessed their volleyball team tip the host Leland Panthers (Leland, IL), 2-1 in a non-league challenge.
The Trojans (8-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Putnam County (Granville, IL). The Panthers come into the Tri-County challenge with a 4-5 record. In their last challenge, Putnam County was nudged by Earlville (Earlville, IL), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.
Next up, the Panthers confront the Hinckley-Big Rock Royals (Hinckley, IL) in a Little Ten game, on Thursday, September 11. Leland will attempt to advance on its 5-4 season record. The Royals enter the game with a 2-4 record after their 2-1 league win over Indian Creek (Shabbona, IL).
