Missouri High School Softball - King City bounces East Buchanan
September 11, 2023: Gower, MO 64454 The crowd at Monday's non-league match between the King City Wildkats (King City, MO) and the host East Buchanan Bulldogs (Gower, MO), saw King City's softball squad achieve victory over East Buchanan by a count of 18-0.
The Wildkats now sport a 3-4 record. They take the field next when they host Stanberry for a Class 1 District 16 match on Thursday, September 14. King City will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 8-7 league loss to North Andrew (Rosendale, MO). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-5.
With the loss, East Buchanan falls to 0-8 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Lawson (Lawson, MO) to face the Cardinals in a Class 2 District 14 match on Thursday, September 14. The Cardinals enter the match with a record of 7-3. Lawson won 13-1 in their recent non-league match against Benton (St. Joseph, MO)
