September 11, 2025: Fayetteville, NC 28312 The Cape Fear Colts football team scored 30 points and restricted the visiting Westover Wolverines to 24 in the Colts non-league win on Thursday.
In their next game, the Colts face the Pine Forest Trojans (Fayetteville, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, September 18. Cape Fear will attempt to improve on its 2-2 season record. The Trojans go into the challenge with a 3-1 record after their 18-8 non-league win over E.E. Smith (Fayetteville, NC).
With the defeat, Westover drops to 1-2 on the campaign. The Wolverines travel to Terry Sanford (Fayetteville, NC) to meet the Bulldogs in a non-league test on Thursday, September 18.
