The Milpitas Trojans felled the host Fremont Firebirds football team by a score of 27-7 in Thursday's non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Trojans play the Los Altos Eagles (Los Altos, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, September 19. Milpitas will attempt to improve on its 1-0 season record. The Eagles go into the challenge with a 1-2 record after their 40-0 non-league loss to Bellarmine College Prep (San Jose, CA).

The Firebirds (1-2) will now prepare for their test against Half Moon Bay (Half Moon Bay, CA). The Cougars come into the non-league test with a 2-1 record. In their last test, Half Moon Bay knocked off Sacred Heart Prep (Atherton, CA), 26-20, in a non-league test.
