The York Dukes triumphed over the host Adams Central Patriots softball squad by a count of 9-3 in Thursday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Dukes play the Crete Cardinals (Crete, NE) in a B District 6 challenge, on Monday, September 15. York will attempt to better on its 7-7 season record. The Cardinals come into the battle with a 12-2 record after their 14-6 league win over Aurora (Aurora, NE).

With the loss, Adams Central moves to 5-7 on the season. The Patriots travel to Twin River (Genoa, NE) to confront the Titans in a non-league battle on Saturday, September 13. The Titans come into the battle with a record of 10-6. Twin River won 12-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Highway 91 (Leigh, NE)
