McIntosh County Academy Buccaneers (Darien, GA) backers left the game pleased Thursday as they saw their softball squad nudge the visiting Jenkins County War Eagles (Millen, GA), 5-1 in a league game.

With the triumph, McIntosh County Academy upgrades its record to 8-14 on the year. The Buccaneers host Liberty County (Hinesville, GA) to play the Panthers in a non-league game on Monday, September 15. The Panthers enter the game with a record of 10-9.
