September 11, 2025: Darien, GA 31305 McIntosh County Academy Buccaneers (Darien, GA) backers left the game pleased Thursday as they saw their softball squad nudge the visiting Jenkins County War Eagles (Millen, GA), 5-1 in a league game.
With the triumph, McIntosh County Academy upgrades its record to 8-14 on the year. The Buccaneers host Liberty County (Hinesville, GA) to play the Panthers in a non-league game on Monday, September 15. The Panthers enter the game with a record of 10-9. Liberty County won 14-1 in their recent league game against Islands (Savannah, GA)
The War Eagles now own a 5-8 record. They play next when they travel to Jefferson County for a non-league game on Monday, September 15. Jenkins County will play a Warriors squad coming off a 19-8 league loss to Washington County (Sandersville, GA). The Warriors record now stands at 5-10.
