September 11, 2025: Lithia Springs, GA 30122 Lithia Springs Lions (Lithia Springs, GA) backers were pleased Thursday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the visiting Coretta Scott King YWLA Soaring Eagle (Atlanta, GA), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.
The Lions (8-15) will now prepare for their challenge against Kennesaw Mountain (Kennesaw, GA). The Mustangs come into the 5A Area 5 challenge with a 7-21 record. In their last challenge, Kennesaw Mountain lost by Fellowship Christian (Roswell, GA), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Soaring Eagle play the Hapeville Charter Hornets (Atlanta, GA) in a 2A Area 5 challenge, on Tuesday, September 16. Coretta Scott King YWLA will attempt to upgrade on its 2-11 season record.
