In Thursday's league match, the Pine Lake Prep Pride (Mooresville, NC) volleyball squad prevailed the visiting Corvian Community Cardinals (Charlotte, NC), by a count of 3-0.

Next up, the Pride confront the Community School of Davidson Spartans (Davidson, NC) in a Catawba Shores 2A/3A/4A match, on Tuesday, September 16. Pine Lake Prep will attempt to move on its 8-1 season record. The Spartans enter the match with a 11-0 record after their 3-0 league win over Langtree Charter Academy (Mooresville, NC).
