In Tuesday's league challenge, the host Corvian Community Cardinals volleyball squad scored a 3-0 win over the Langtree Charter Academy Lions.

With the win, Corvian Community improves its record to 4-1 on the season. The Cardinals travel to Community School of Davidson (Davidson, NC) to face the Spartans in a Catawba Shores 2A/3A/4A test on Thursday, August 28. The Spartans go into the test with a record of 5-0. Community School of Davidson won 3-0 in their recent non-league test against Gray Stone Day (Misenheimer, NC)

The Lions now own a 4-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lincoln Charter for a Catawba Shores 2A/3A/4A test on Thursday, August 28. Langtree Charter Academy will face a Eagles squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Community School of Davidson (Davidson, NC). The Eagles record now stands at 3-4.
