Illinois High School Volleyball - Dwight over Putnam County
September 11, 2025: Dwight, IL 60420 Fans at Thursday's league contest between the Dwight Trojans (Dwight, IL) and the visiting Putnam County Panthers (Granville, IL), observed Dwight's volleyball team top Putnam County by a count of 2-0.
The Trojans (9-5) will now prepare for their contest against Streator (Streator, IL). The Bulldogs enter the non-league contest with a 8-3 record. In their last contest, Streator notched a victory over Herscher (Herscher, IL), 2-0, in a league contest.
Next, the Panthers meet the Bureau Valley Storm (Manlius, IL) in a non-league contest, on Monday, September 15. Putnam County will attempt to move on its 4-6 season record. The Storm enter the battle with a 4-8 record after their 2-0 league win over Biggsville West Central (Biggsville, IL).
