North Carolina High School Volleyball - Vance Charter nudged by Falls Lake

The Falls Lake Firebirds volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the host Vance Charter Knights to 2 in the Firebirds league triumph on Thursday.

The Firebirds now have a 14-3 record. They play next when they host Excelsior Classical Academy for a Triangle North 1A/2A outing on Tuesday, September 16. Falls Lake will play a Flying Lions team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over The Hawbridge School (Graham, NC). The Flying Lions record now stands at 7-6.

With the loss, Vance Charter drops to 10-1 on the season. The Knights host Discovery Charter School (Bahama, NC) to confront the Trailblazers in a Triangle North 1A/2A game on Tuesday, September 16. The Trailblazers go into the game with a record of 0-7. Discovery Charter School lost 3-0 in their recent league game against Oxford Prep (Oxford, NC)
