St. Mary's Saints (Raleigh, NC) boosters left the game satisfied Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Thales Academy Apex Titans (Apex, NC), 3-1 in a non-league test.

With the win, St. Mary's improves its record to 1-5 on the season. The Saints host Durham Academy (Durham, NC) to face the Cavaliers in a NCISAA Triangle Independent test on Tuesday, September 16. The Cavaliers go into the test with a record of 6-4. Durham Academy won 3-0 in their recent league challenge against Cary Academy (Cary, NC)

Next, the Titans play the Trinity of Durham and Chapel Hill Lion (Durham, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, September 12. Thales Academy Apex will attempt to upgrade on its 3-7 season record.
