September 12, 2023: Gray, GA 31032 The Jones County Greyhounds softball team scored 19 runs and limited the visiting Eagle's Landing Eagles to 1 in the Greyhounds league triumph on Tuesday.
With the triumph, Jones County moves its record to 7-6 on the year. The Greyhounds travel to Ola (McDonough, GA) to clash with the Mustangs in a 5A Region 2 game on Thursday, September 14. The Mustangs come into the game with a record of 14-1. Ola won 9-3 in their recent non-league game against Academy for Classical Education (Macon, GA)
In their next game, the Eagles clash with the Howard Huskies (Macon, GA) in a non-league game, on Wednesday, September 13. Eagle's Landing will attempt to move on its 0-8 season record. The Huskies come into the game with a 6-6 record after their 8-5 league loss to Griffin (Griffin, GA).
